I know they say that it doesn’t matter, that smaller breasts doesn’t mean lower milk production, but I’m curious if it is harder for the baby to latch on? I have small breasts and I don’t have big nipples that look anywhere close to bottle nipples. In fact, I learned that I have flat nipples and I have used a few techniques to help that. I was reading a breastfeeding manual and it said you can tell that the baby is properly latched on when their nose and chin are touching your breast. This is where my concerns about small breasts come in. My breasts aren’t big enough for the baby’s nose and chin to both touch my breast. I have a toddler and a new baby on the way. I failed breastfeeding the first time around because nobody mentioned to me that I had flat nipples. Now that I figured that out, my only other concern is the latching on. Any suggestions, advice, comments? Any help would be much appreciated! Thank you =)
